T-33A (CT-133) (Shooting Star) Serial Number 133590
Manufactured in 1953 for the Royal Canadian Air Force (RCAF) under license by the Lockheed Aircraft Corporation. Utilized as an advanced trainer until being allocated to the Canadian "National Research Council" as a flying test bed for zero "G" experiments. Purchased in 2001 by the Cactus Air Force and flown to it's home base in Carson City, Nevada by Lee "Thumper" Griffin (CAF Flight Operations Officer), this aircraft is being utilized as an Advanced Jet Trainer and will be flown in the 2007 Reno Air Races. This aircraft is the lowest time T-33 flying with only 3,500 hours total time and is in it's original configuration.
